In each country that we work in, we provide women survivors of war, civil strife, and other conflicts with the tools and resources to move from crisis and poverty to stability and self-sufficiency, thereby promoting viable civil societies. These videos share the stories of tragedy to triumph, like Sadije, who survived horrible atrocities during Serbian Army attacks on her and her family. Sadije is now a leader in her community and takes women from her program on a trip to see the Kosovan countryside - a first for many of the women. The stories you see and hear are proof that one woman can change anything... many women can change everything.
