We do this through a multi-layered core program of direct aid and emotional support, rights-based education, and economic development.
The organization was founded in 1993 and has benefited more than one million people, helping over 195,000 women survivors of war to move towards economic self-reliance and distributing over $79 million in direct aid and micro-credit loans. WfWI currently has offices in the US and the UK to support field operations in: Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, Rwanda, Nigeria, Sudan, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
We are considering offering a contract of up to one year to a person who can help in the next phase of our growing income generation program.
