Abdoulaye Toure serves as the Country Director for Women for Women International – Democratic Republic of the Congo, where he manages programs that have served more than 88,000 women since 2004.
Mr. Toure has more than 20 years of experience in international development, focusing on Mali and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Since his first assignment as Administrator for the International Red Cross in Mali in 1992, Mr. Toure has gone on to specialize in program design and development, quality management, and facilitation of change processes for development and humanitarian aid organizations in Mali and DRC. Prior to joining Women for Women International, Mr. Toure served as Assistant Country Director and Program Director in the DRC for CARE International, where he has worked since 1993.
Mr. Toure has a Master II degree in Project Management from the Institut de Management de Bamako in Mali.
