Walk in the steps of refugees of the 1995 Bosnian Genocide

ambassadorWomen for Women International Ambassadors are passionate individuals who are committed to supporting women survivors of war by working locally throughout the year to raise funds and awareness for WfWI's programs and the countries in which we work.

  • Ambassador Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Commit to a one year Ambassador term

    • Hold two fundraising events per year (one of which can be online/virtual)

    • Introduce a minimum of 20 new supporters to the organization

    • Engage with WfWI through social media.  Respond to alerts from WfWI and help spread the word to your own personal networks

    • Liaise with local supporters and organizations who want to connect and work together to further WfWI’s mission

    • Expected to have a solid knowledge of WfWI program and be able to represent the organization positively

    • Participate in mandatory Ambassador Orientation call

  • What to Expect From Us:

    • Welcome/Introduction call with a member of the WfWI team

    • Invitations to attend periodic calls with WfWI to stay informed about our work and latest news

    • Invitations to attend WfWI events in  your area

    • Access to online toolkits and Ambassadors-only resources

    • Recognition on our Ambassador map so that other in your area can connect with you to get involved
