Business Skills

A Business to Call Their Own

We recognize that women need basic business skills to compete in the market. Building on the job-skills training program, we offer comprehensive business education designed to help women operate their own enterprises.

These skills include: the basics of business planning, entrepreneurship, selling, bookkeeping and financing a business. We also work with women on setting reachable goals and building up a business.

Basic math training is offered to some participants prior to their business and skills training. This training involves a short series of sessions focusing on simple arithmetic and counting. Fundamental math is vital to women as they actively pursue income-generation opportunities.
