• Two SIGBI Members Return to the Field - Rwanda Rebel Knitters Strike Again!
Two participants of the February 2006 Project Independence Study Tour to Rwanda recently met up again in Kigali, Rwanda to teach Women for Women International participants different fabric dyeing techniques, basic patchwork, and simple embroidery stitches. The women were able to show off what they had learned by making greetings cards and decorated shoulder bags.

From February 12 – February 25, two different groups of Soroptimist International members from around the world met in Kigali, Rwanda to witness first-hand Women for Women International’s programs on the ground and how Project Independence: Women Survivors of War is helping. Independence Study Tour to Bosnia and Herzegovina
From September 7th - September 16th, members from Soroptimist
International visited Bosnia and Herzegovina to see Women for Women
International's programs in the field. The trip gave Soroptimist
International club members an opportunity to see the impact the
programs make on women's lives.
