Match Her Courage Benefit

Our keynote speaker, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Samantha Power, will delve into the critical work of supporting women’s rights and empowerment across the globe. Our founders, Zainab Salbi and Amjad Atallah, will describe how the idea of a young couple grew and expanded over the past 25 years to be the incredible impactful organization it is today. Most importantly, we will welcome our program graduates from Afghanistan, Rwanda, Kosovo, Bosnia, Nigeria, and the Democratic Republic of Congo and honor them with the Courageous Sister Awards. You will learn about their journeys: overcoming enormous challenges of extreme poverty, marginalization, inequality and violence, and enrolling in our program to build a brighter future for themselves and their families.
