Fadwa Barzinji is a human rights advocate and development professional dedicated to advancing equity and dignity for women and marginalized communities. With a background in peace and conflict studies, she has led fundraising and community engagement initiatives that strengthen grassroots organizations and expand resources for Arab and Muslim communities in the United States and abroad.
In addition to serving on the U.S. Board of Advisors for Women for Women International, Fadwa sits on the board of InterAct International, a peacebuilding organization, and serves on philanthropic boards supporting human rights and community empowerment globally.
Fadwa brings expertise in strategic fundraising, program design, and community-building, with a focus on diaspora engagement and community-led models that translate values into measurable impact. Her work is guided by trauma-informed, survivor-centered principles that prioritize dignity, agency, and safety.
