Berna Rusagara
Berna is the Executive Director of Women for Women-Rwanda
Berna Rusagara is an executive leader with over 15 years of experience across business and the not-for-profit sector. She currently serves as Executive Director of Women for Women Rwanda, where she leads the organization’s strategy, partnerships, and work to advance women’s empowerment.
Prior to joining Women for Women Rwanda, Berna held roles at Practical Action, Babylon Health, and Citi Bank, building experience across development, technology, and financial services and a strong understanding of how business and development can work together to address complex challenges.
Berna holds an Executive MBA from Esade Business School, a BA in International Development Studies, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Scrum Master.
She is passionate about strategy and building business models that create both economic and social value.
