Rhythm for Equality

Cocktails and Conversation with Women for Women International

On Monday, December 4, 2017, Women for Women International hosted Rhythm for Equality, an evening of music, dance, and conversation. Featuring Drum Café Entertainment, a team of world-class musicians led guests through an unparalleled, interactive musical experience. Guests also heard from Joy Rwamwenge, Executive Director of the Women’s Opportunity Center (WOC) in Kigali, Rwanda and Laurie Adams, CEO of Women for Women International. The discussion was a powerful reminder of the impact that music and dance can have on community building and women’s empowerment and the how we can all support the equality of women in conflict-affected countries.
