One Month Later, #BringBackOurGirls

Today marks the one-month anniversary of the kidnapping of the young women and girls from their school in Chibok, Nigeria.

Women for Women International joined protests in Na irobi, Kenya to mark the one month anniversary since the kidnapping of more than 300 young women and girls in Nigeria.Today marks the one-month anniversary of the kidnapping of the young women and girls from their school in Chibok, Nigeria.

We are joining the Global Day of Action to maintain public attention and renew the calls for the Nigerian government to ensure the safe return of the girls to their families. We encourage our network of sponsors and supporters to add their voices to the #BringBackOurGirls social media campaign and urge their elected leaders to do everything in their power to ensure the girls are rescued.

WfWI Nigerian Country Director Ngozi Eze and her staff are actively working with civil society organizations in Nigeria to monitor and support efforts to encourage the government to take action and ensure the security of women and girls.
