More than three years since war broke out in Sudan, millions of lives have been systematically unraveled. Women have borne a disproportionate share of that destruction, they have been displaced from homes, separated from networks of support, and forced into roles they were never prepared for but have refused to collapse under. The following testimonies were gathered by Women for Women International and the Sudanese Organisation for Research and Development (SORD) from six Sudanese women living through the war.
