For the past 25 years, Women for Women International has been operating in some of the worst places on earth to be a woman. Places where rape is used as a weapon of war and violence has ripped apart families and communities. Places where global unrest has caused millions of people to slip into hunger, insecurity, and fear.
What is the key to rebuilding in these communities where poverty and despair are all consuming? Women. Women possess the courage to rebuild, the courage to stand up, the courage to learn, and the courage to defy the odds.
In celebration of our 25th anniversary, we're inviting you to Match Her Courage. The courageous women we serve are peace-builders on the front lines, rebuilding war-torn societies from the ground up. They stand up for their rights, learn new skills, and defy the odds that have been stacked against them. We want to accelerate and expand our efforts, but we need you to make that possible.
