Every day is a day to celebrate being a woman. More and more, we see our voices amplified around the world, in politics, business, sports, fashion, art, and entertainment—all fields that men have historically dominated.
Still, we have yet to achieve true gender equality, and in many nations around the globe—including here in the United States—women are not only put second, but also repressed, abused, and silenced. Politicians strip women of political power and basic human rights, pushing issues such as reproductive freedom to the forefront of our ongoing fight for equality.
